Cleaning Your Waxed Cotton Kovie Face Mask

To preserve the waxed finish on your Kovie face mask, follow these simple instructions.

Supplies you’ll need:

1.large bowl with cold water

2.saddle soap, or bar soap (with no additives)

3.washing rag

Create a soap bath by soaking the rag; making circles with the wet rag, transfer the soap to the water bath. Repeat until you have a soapy bath

Place Kovie face mask into soapy bath and let it soak overnight (approx. 6 hrs)

After soaking period has elapsed, spot-wash the waxed shell of the mask; make sure you dab the entire surface of the mask, applying repeated dabs to more soiled areas.

Flip mask and apply repeated pressure with the wash rag; make sure you cover the entire surface area of the cotton lining.

Empty soap bath from bowl, and replenish bowl with fresh cold water

Place Kovie face mask in fresh water and swish around to rinse soap off

wring mask dry

hang dry, or lay flat to dry
